State to auction off vehicles Saturday in Grand Rapids
The State of Minnesota will auction approximately 50 cars and trucks, boat-motor-trailer packages, outboard motors, plow trucks and tractors, snowmobiles and all-terrain vehicles and more on Saturday, Dec. 1 in Grand Rapids.
The gates open for inspection and registration at 8 a.m. at the DNR Headquarters, 1201 E. Highway 2 in Grand Rapids. Bidding begins at about 9:30 a.m.
A preliminary list of items is online at https://www.minnbid.org/public/auct_info.aspx?ID=189. All items are sold as-is, where-is; sales are final and must be settled in full with cash or personal check the day of the auction.
Convenient, quick and easy registration and bidding numbers are now both available online. The only requirements are a computer with an internet connection and a printer. Simple instructions are on the 'Auctions' link of the Surplus Services website, www.mnsurplus.org. Current customers of the state's MinnBid internet auction service can get a bidding card online in just seconds.
Saturday's auction will be the final live auction for the 2012 state auction season. The state conducts about 12 surplus goods auctions each year and also sells surplus continuously online at www.minnbid.org. An auction calendar is available at www.mnsurplus.org.
