State adds 8,400 jobs in May; jobless rate holds steady

Minnesota employers added 8,400 jobs in May, according to figures released today by the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED). Minnesota has now gained just over 93 percent of the jobs lost during the recession, 10,700 jobs shy of the state's pre-recessionary peak.
