A few new options may await vacationers looking to enjoy a drink this tourist season. Douglas County commissioners approved two liquor-licensing requests.

A public hearing was held on May 8 during the commissioner's meeting for Viking Bay Resort and Lodge on Lake Miltona to carry an off-sale 3.2 percent beer and an off-sale liquor license.
