The Evansville Art Center (EAC) building will celebrate its 100th birthday this year.

In honor of the milestone, a special birthday cake will be served during EAC's 1st Friday concert, July 6 at 7 p.m. on the street in front of EAC. Bring a lawn chair. In case of inclement weather, the concert will be held inside.

Tom Sellin and Ellie Wallace will be the featured musicians.

Wallace, turning 14 years old this summer, will be in 8th grade at Discovery Middle School in Alexandria. Sellin, of Alexandria, Wallace's grandfather, has been performing with her for the last four years.

Each entertainer plays a number of songs from the other's generation as well as their own. Both musicians provide background, singing, harmony and musical accompaniment for each other. They perform a variety of music from a range of eras in folk, pop and country music.

The concert will also include a selection of some of Wallace's original songs. Sellin and Wallace perform with a mix of acoustic and electric guitars, including two 12-string guitars, as well as occasional harmonies and a mandolin.
