Sonya Anderson given volunteer award
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Division of Enforcement recently awarded Alexandria resident Sonya Anderson with a 30-year Volunteer Snowmobile Safety Instructor award.
Anderson has annually volunteered her time to teach local youth how to safely operate snowmobiles since January 1, 1984, when she was certified as a volunteer instructor through the Minnesota DNR.
