Al Edenloff | Echo Press Liberty and London Fann of Alexandria had fun playing on a big mound of snow along Irving Street Saturday.

Snow brings fun and work

Email

Snow dumped another four to five inches of powdery flakes throughout the Alexandria area late Friday night and into Saturday.

Plows were hitting the streets early, piling up the snow in the middle of streets for trucks to haul away.

The snow removal process created extra work for some residents, including those on 6th Avenue East who found their sidewalks buried under not-so-fluffy snow that was put there by plows clearing the streets.
