MOORHEAD – A small explosion Monday at a new Sanford Health clinic here will delay its opening.
Sanford’s new $17 million Moorhead clinic at 4000 28th Ave. S. was set to open next week, on March 3.
Moorhead police say one person suffered minor injuries.
The explosion at 1:10 p.m. happened in a secondary elevator shaft near the lobby, said Jeff Hoss, Sanford vice president of clinical operations.
The explosion will push back that opening date, Hoss said.
Hoss didn’t give any indication of how long the clinic’s opening will be delayed.
