Alexandria Technical and Community College (ATCC) hosted seven state SkillsUSA competitions on Friday, March 22.

Students from several schools were on hand to test their skills in the areas of carpentry, CNC milling, CNC turning, mechatronics, motorcycle service technology, snowmobile service technology and technical drafting.

SkillsUSA is a nonprofit organization serving teachers, high school and college students who are preparing for careers in trade, technical and skilled service occupations.

It is a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce.
