The Osakis volleyball team wrapped up regular season play on a positive note Tuesday with a 3-0 win over Long Prairie-Grey Eagle in Long Prairie.

The Silverstreaks rolled to victories in nearly every set, winning 25-13, 25-23 and 25-12. Head coach Kirsten Wessel said she noticed improved communication and offensive play in the match.

“We had a nice win to end our regular season,” she said. “Our passing improved, and we stayed aggressive.”

Brooke Sorenson led the team with seven kills in the match and had six of the Silverstreaks’ nine blocks. Annalise Savageau had a team-high 15 digs and added 13 assists.

The Silverstreaks will play for the overall Prairie Conference championship against Browerville on Monday night in Osakis. The section tournament begins next Friday, October 25.
