Sheriff's office, police department phones down, 911 is working

The phone issues at The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office has been resolved. The system is operating at full capacity at this time.
As of 8:45 a.m. Friday, August 30, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and the Alexandria Police Department were experiencing phone problems.

The problems affected the administrative phones only, 911 was working.
