Shape up to serve
Catalyst Covenant Church in Alexandria will host nationally known fitness expert and Alexandria resident Natalie Heckert at Family Night Live on Friday, May 9 from 6:15 to 7:45 p.m. at Woodland School, 1410 South McKay Avenue, Alexandria.
The evening’s theme is “Shape Up to Serve!” Heckert will lead kids and families in fitness games and activities. She will share practical ways they can take care of their bodies to give them the strength to serve and bless others.
There is no cost and everyone is invited to attend.
Heckert has trained people for more than 18 years. She served as the CEO of Nutrition and Aerobic Training Service for 18 years, was a Mrs. Minnesota finalist and trained Tracey Yukich while she was on NBC’s The Biggest Loser.
Heckert invented a variety of fitness products and has starred in numerous exercise videos. She also developed a two-year health and fitness specialist degree program in partnership with the Alexandria Community and Technical College and served as an adjunct professor.
Currently, she is on the national/international circuit as a fitness expert and motivational speaker.
Family Night Live is a time for families to gather every second and fourth Friday evening at Woodland School for singing, games, intergenerational activities, practical life lessons, appearances from puppets or special guests, and brief just-for-kids and just-for-parents times.
