Senior Center programs focus on safety, health
Several programs dedicated to personal safety or health are planned at the Alexandria Senior Center. All of these programs are free of charge and presented by professionals.
On Wednesday, April 9 at 10:30 a.m. Alexandria Police Officer Jim Gripne will speak on Protecting Yourself in your Home.
On Wednesday, April 22 at 10:30 a.m., Gripne will address Protecting Yourself from Technological Scams.
On Tuesday April 15 at 10:30 a.m., Legal Services of Northwest Minnesota will discuss services available to the elderly, with emphasis on consumer fraud.
On Wednesday, April 2 at 10:30 a.m., Amdahl Hearing will conduct hearing tests and explain hearing aids.
On Friday, April 11 at 10:30 a.m., Mary Krueger will assist with the writing of advanced directives for health care.
