It was a fast start for the Knights, who jumped to a 39-16 halftime lead over Hancock Monday night, then cruised to a 64-32 win in the 6A-South opener.

"We played well against a team that has been hot lately, and we got contributions from the whole team again," said head coach Kraig Hunter. "Dakotah Kashmark sparked us early and we had a good defensive effort."

Kashmark had 14 points, all in the first half, and added eight rebounds and four assists.
