Sartell tops Alexandria swim team

While being outscored in 10 of 12 events, the Alexandria boys’ swimming and diving team could not keep up with Sartell in a 108-78 loss on the road Tuesday.

The Cardinals picked up four wins in the middle of the contest to keep it close, but Sartell dominated the late events to pull out the victory.

Max Jacobson picked up two wins in the 50 freestyle (23.62) and the 100 freestyle (52.64) to lead the Cardinals Tuesday. The team’s other two wins came from Mark Kallevig in the 100 butterfly (58.64) and Brady Wolkow in diving (169.80).

The loss dropped the Cardinals to 1-5 in dual meets this season.
