Students in Alexandria Technical and Community College's mechatronics and robotics programs recently had the chance to see the kinds of machines they'll be making someday. Festo, an advanced handling systems company based in New York, brought its mobile lab to the college to showcase its latest innovations, including this "pick and place" application. The lab, housed in a semitrailer, rolls to the college every couple of years to demonstrate Festo's newest components, modules and software.
