Revised Agriculture Transportation Handbook now available
The Minnesota Farm Bureau (MFB) Foundation in partnership with the Minnesota Soybean Research and Promotion Council, Commercial Vehicle Inspectors, Minnesota State Patrol and the Federal Highway Department has revised and reprinted the Agriculture Transportation Handbook with updated state and federal statutes, rules and exemptions for transporting agricultural goods on highways.
"The Agriculture Transportation Handbook is a valuable resource for Minnesota's farmers and ranchers," said Minnesota Farm Bureau President Kevin Paap. "Understanding state and federal transportation laws and regulations help to ensure safe transportation of agricultural goods."
Copies of the handbook are available free of charge through the MFB Foundation. For your copy of this transportation handbook, contact Pam Dahlman at (651) 768-2117 or e-mail email@example.com.
The MFB Foundation's mission is to provide opportunities for supporters of agriculture to invest in people and programs that promote agriculture and the environment through safety training, agricultural education and leadership training. Examples of some of the programs currently funded include: biosecurity signs, trespass fliers, promotion and education mini grants, agriculture promotion grants and more.
