Reverend Raven to perform at Music in the Gardens

Music in the Gardens will present Reverend Raven and the Chain Smokin’ Altar Boys on Friday, July 25 at the Minnesota Lakes Maritime Museum and Gardens in Alexandria.

Gates open at 6:30 p.m. Music starts at 7:30 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public. Attendees should bring a lawn chair. Food and beverages will be available to purchase.

The professional group, Reverend Raven and the Chain Smokin’ Altar Boys, plays traditional blues and performs in night clubs across the Midwest.

Born and raised on the south side of Chicago, the Reverend has been playing the blues since 1971.

He completed a 15-year run in the Navy, and since 1990, he has opened for B.B. King, Gatemouth Brown, Pinetop Perkins and more.
