Resorters baseball: Carlos opens with 6-2 win

The Carlos Cougars got the Resorters baseball season going with a 6-2 win over Urbank-Parkers Prairie this past weekend.

Mark Hillesheim got the win after allowing no hits through four innings. He walked two and struck out three before Nate Hoelscher, Jason Schueler and Matt Hoelscher closed out the game over the final five frames.

Nate Hoelscher had three RBIs to lead the offense. Aaron Noetzelman and Ryan Severson each added two hits for a Cougars team that collected nine on the day.
