Red Willow Arts Coalition announces 2014 concert series

The Red Willow Arts Coalition 2014 summer concert series will begin Thursday, May 22 and run every Thursday through August 28.

All concerts begin at 7 p.m. on the Douglas County Courthouse lawn in Alexandria and are free to all. Guests are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket.

May 22, Betty Rydell, country/gospel.

May 29, Blonde and the Bohunk, country.

June 5, North Country, classic country.

June 12, Matt and Julie Velline, jazz guitar vocal.

June 19, Skilly and Duff, Irish music.

June 26, Kool Whip, light rock.

July 3, Jefferson High School (JHS) alumni concert with the JHS pep band.

July 4 (Friday), 4th of July concert with Bruce Nelson, Mikko Cowdery, Bill Riggs and Doo Wop Divas.

July 10, Skal Klubben, Scandinavian.

July 17, Honky Tonk Stardust Cowboys, classic country.

July 24, White Sidewalls Rock and Roll Revue, 1950s.

July 31, Tina and Lena, musical/comedy.

August 7, Doc’s All Stars, big band.

August 14, Charlie Roth and The Healers, folk.

August 21, Pachanga Society, Latin/Caribbean.

August 28, Red Letter Band, Christian/country.
