Recording artist Kelley Hunt to perform at Maritime Gardens
Keyboardist and guitarist Kelley Hunt will return to the Minnesota Lakes Maritime Museum (MLMM) and Gardens outdoor stage, 205 3rd Avenue West, Alexandria, on Friday, July 5 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. An opening act will start at 6:30 p.m.
A Kansas City-based roots, blues and Americana recording artist, Hunt has had five international releases and 150,000 indie units sold. She has performed on elite North American and international festival stages, at four fan-favorite appearances at Duluth's Bayfront Blues Festival and across the state.
Hunt has also performed sold-out shows at The Dakota and other Twin Cities venues, as well as six live appearances on A Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keillor.
MLMM houses exhibitions on the history of maritime activities on Minnesota's lakes and a collection of vintage, historic watercraft. In recent years, the museum and community developed Maritime Gardens, an area on the museum grounds that includes a large, outdoor, covered production stage.
Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. They are available at MLMM and online at www.kelleyhunt.com.
