Public invited to attend ‘profit mystery to profit mastery’ training
The West Central Minnesota Small Business Development Center (WC MN SBDC) will host profit mastery training on Wednesday, October 9 and Thursday, October 10 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Alexandria.
This two-day training is designed to provide individuals with the tools to understand financial management and increase their chances of success in today’s difficult economic times, to take their business from profit mystery to profit mastery.
Small business owners, accountants, bankers, key managers, entrepreneurs and business advisors are also encouraged to attend. The course also qualifies for 16 hours of continuing professional education credits for any CPA.
Statistics show that more than half of all businesses that fail each year do so despite reporting profits and record sales.
The most successful businesses have found that the key to long-term success revolves around effective financial management.
Pre-registration is required at least 10 business days before the date of the training. For more information and to register, contact Amanda Nygaard, program coordinator, at (218) 299-3037.
The WC MN SBDC is hosted by the Offutt School of Business at Concordia College in Moorhead.
