Several volunteers, with the help of skid steers and compact tractors, cleared most of a city block.

The drama will take place Sunday, March 24 from 2 to 5 p.m. and Tuesday, March 26 from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

The outdoor drama draws nearly 3,000 people. Groups from as far away as North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa and Wisconsin have made the trip to view Jesus' last day on Earth as portrayed by members of Zion and Good Shepherd.

Those attending will experience a 20 minute guided tour through 12 scenes from the birth of Christ through His ascension. The scenes are graphic and biblically correct.

Guided wheelchairs with blankets and golf cars will be provided for the physically challenged.

The event, held at 300 Lake Street in Alexandria, is in its 15th year and is offered at no charge.
