Police release new details of vehicle seen near robbery

A surveillance camera took this image of a silver car that was parked at the Super America pumps while the robbery was taking place.

The Alexandria Police Department has updated information about a "vehicle of interest" that it's trying to locate as part of its investigation of an armed robbery at Super America, 1424 Broadway, on Tuesday night.

The vehicle, which was in the area at the time of the incident, is described as a small two-door gray or silver vehicle, possibly a Nissan or Honda make, and possibly with a black racing stripe running down the hood and top of the car. It was at the gas station at approximately 11:55 p.m. Tuesday night. Police think the driver might have seen something that will help the investigation.

Anyone with information is urged to call the police department at (320) 763-6631.
