Photos needed for art exhibit
The Evansville Art Center (EAC) is planning for its annual Photography Show and is looking for photos.
The show is slated to run March 4 through April 24. The gallery hours during the show will be Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. beginning in March.
It will also be open during the monthly Thursday Open Mic Nights. (See related story.) The gallery is also available to be open by special appointment, which can be made by calling (218) 948-2377 or (218) 948-2836.
Any interested photographer may exhibit up to five photos - the smallest being a minimum of a 5 by 7 inch and the largest being a maximum of an 18 by 24 inch. All photos must be in frames that can be hung; no easel frames or unframed photos will be accepted.
Each photo must have the photographer's name and phone number attached to the back. The photographer may title the photo if he/she wishes to do so.
Photographers may exhibit or sell their photos and are encouraged to call the Evansville Art Center for details.
All photos must be delivered to the EAC on Saturday, February 27 between 10 a.m. and noon. In addition, all photos that are exhibited must be picked up on Saturday, April 24 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
