Photo of the Week - Supermoon
Robyn Kopischke of Alexandria took this photo of the "supermoon" on June 23.
A supermoon, which appears to be bigger and brighter than usual, occurs when a full or new moon makes its closest approach to Earth during its elliptical orbit.
"This was shot just as a fast moving cloud was passing by, making it appear a bit ominous," said Kopischke. "It almost looks like a panther jumping across the moon."
