Photo of the Week: Painter's palette
Don Schoonhoven of Alexandria took this photo of "painter's palettes," rare perennials that are in his garden. When the leaves first grow in the spring, they are dark green. The leaves then change colors, as seen above.
"No two leaves are alike," said Schoonhoven, hence the name painter's palettes.
