Crews will install rumble stripes along the edges of the following road segments:

· Highway 7 from Odessa to Appleton

· Highway 32 from Highway 10 to the Clay/Norman county line

· Highway 54 from Elbow Lake to Highway 27

· Highway 106 from Highway 10 to Deer Creek

· Highway 113 from Highway 59 to the Clay/Norman county line

· Highway 119 from Appleton to Highway 40

· Highway 200 from Highway 59 to the Clay/Norman county line

· Highway 210 from Highway 10 to Deer Creek

Highly reflective paint will be used on the rumble stripes.

The work is expected to be complete by late September.

The rumble stripes will improve safety on these highways because they reduce run-off-the-road crashes. Comprehensive research studies have shown a 20 percent reduction in fatal and serious injury crashes once they are installed. Also, the wet reflective paint will make edge lines much more visible in the dark and wet driving conditions.
