The Parkers Prairie boys' and girls' track teams took part in their first meet of the season at Little Amik-I indoor meet on Tuesday.

The Panther girls came away with a 12th-place finish in the 17-team field. The boys finished 13th with a team score of 17.

Collin Hager led the way with a fourth-place finish in the 800-meter race and fifth place in the long jump. Andy Liljegren also finished fourth in the 1600.

Crystal Klukken was the top finisher of the day for any Panther runner. She finished second in the 200-meter dash to help pace the girls.

Bagley-Fosston took the title in the girls' division with a team score of 69.5. The boys' teams were led by Roseau. The Rams edged Frazee by three points with a total of 91.
