PACER Center to host Family Fun Day

PACER's Simon Technology Center is presenting its Family Fun Day, and one lucky child with a disability will win an iPad as the Center celebrates 25 years of making a difference with assistive technology.

This free event is for parents, children, and professionals. It is on Saturday, September 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at PACER Center, 8161 Normandale Blvd., Bloomington, Minn. Advance registration is requested.

Participants will:

• Discover the latest apps for the iPad and iTouch

• Learn about assistive technology that supports academics, including accessible instructional materials (AIM)

• Tour the Simon Technology Center library and meet the assistive technology specialists

• Speak with a variety of assistive technology providers

• Enjoy a bounce house, face painting, kite making, playing with a parachute, and more!
