A weekend of fun could be found in both Miltona and Millerville this weekend.
Miltona’s Tornado Days festival offered something for all ages, including water fights between local fire departments Saturday. The Garfield Fire Department won the competition, while Forada and Villard took second and third, respectively. Other activities included a parade, bean bag tournament, kids pedal pull, martial arts demonstration, street dance featuring Sweet Siren, a Belgian waffle breakfast, craft sales, and a “Short on Cash” dance and raffle.
Meanwhile, in Millerville, crowds enjoyed the annual Butter Days festival, which featured a bean bag tournament, street dance featuring 2 Mile Final, a 5K race, kids pedal tractor pull, a parade, pig races, a butter carving contest, children’s activities, a pork chop feed, church bazaar and more.
