The Alexandria Shooting Park was host to the Minnesota State High School Clay Target League's 2013 state tournament this past weekend.

A total of 2,039 shooters on 115 teams took part. That's more than double the number of teams that competed at state last year in a sport that is growing more and more with every season.

See Friday's sports pages of the Echo Press for more on the boost in numbers of the Clay Target League and for results of the local shooters at state.
