“Another good road win for the girls,” head coach Pat Kalpin said. “St John’s is a much improved team, and both teams worked equally as hard all night. Once we got going, the girls played pretty well. Early on, we took good shots, just couldn’t get them to fall. Defensively, we were able to create some turnovers and score. A good, solid win for the team tonight.”

Savageau led 11 scorers for Osakis as she finished with 14 points. Johanna Boogaard added 10 and freshman Alecia Kaelke had all eight of her points in the second half. Brooke Sorenson also finished with eight points.

Osakis has two more games this week in conference play. The Silverstreaks were scheduled to go to Royalton last night, Tuesday, before welcoming in Long Prairie-Grey Eagle on Friday night. They will then travel to Parkers Prairie next Tuesday night.
