Senior Lauren Silbernick and junior first singles player Taylor Kraemer shared the honor of the team MVP after helping Osakis to a perfect 18-0 regular season. Those two anchored the top two spots in the singles lineup through most of the season and finished with the most wins on the team. Kraemer put together 30 wins in the number one spot, while Silbernick was right behind her at 29.

Both were also named to the All-Prairie Conference team as Kraemer took home the league MVP Award. Angie Bowman and Katie Anderson joined them on the all-conference team, while Hannah Baker was an honorable-mention selection.

Baker was named this team's most improved player by her teammates. The junior was steady for the Silverstreaks all season as she finished with 27 wins. Silbernick added the Silverstreak Award to her collection, as well. She epitomized the do whatever is best for the team approach that Maddock preached when she moved out of the first doubles lineup to play at second singles.

That helped other less experienced players in the lineup play at positions where they were more comfortable. The end result was another great season for Osakis.

The Silverstreaks were ranked sixth in the final Class A state rankings after winning their first-ever match at a state tournament this fall. That win came in a tight 4-3 match against former section rival Staples-Motley.

That was one highlight in a season filled with them. Osakis extended its regular season winning streak to 60 dual matches with its 18 wins this season. The Silverstreaks have not lost a home match in six years.

Along with that came the usual wins at the Hi-Way 10 tournament and the individual Prairie Conference tournament. That was all part of another overall Prairie Conference title for the Silverstreaks.

Maddock has helped turn this team into one of the best programs in the area. He was recognized for that by being named the Section 6A Coach of the Year. He was also named the Prairie Conference Coach of the Year for all female programs in the league from last winter through this fall season.

Maddock's team was equally as impressive in the classroom as it was on the court. The Silverstreaks added an Academic Gold Team Award to its list of accomplishments after having a team GPA of 3.75 or higher. Silbernick helped lead the way in that category as well, by earning an academic all-state award.
