Osakis drops game to USA 34-8

The Osakis football team was unable to produce enough offense in a 34-8 loss in an away game against Upsala/Swanville Area Friday night.

The lone score for the Silverstreaks came late in the game when tight end Preston Graham caught a 24-yard touchdown pass from freshman backup quarterback Zach Weir.

Head coach Bill Infanger said the Silverstreaks had a tough time finding offense with their backup quarterback playing and their starting fullback out midway through the game due to injury.

“USA was very physical,” Infanger said. “They played very well against us defensively.”
