UPDATE 11 a.m: Fatal crash closes I-94 near Osakis

Osakis beats Wadena-Deer Creek 20-12

Trey Erie scored two touchdowns as the Osakis football team won 20-12 over Wadena-Deer Creek at home on Friday night.

Erie scored rushing touchdowns in the second and fourth quarter, and Ryan Engfer also scored on a run in the second quarter for the Silverstreaks.

Head coach Bill Infanger said the Silverstreaks’ 3-1 start feels good after injuries have forced the team to tweak the lineup this season.

“It feels great to be 3-1 right now considering the injuries we’ve had and the hurdles this team’s had to go over,” Infanger said. “It’s rewarding to be a 3-1 because every week it seems like we’re putting a new guy into a position.”
