Recently, more than 20 women gathered to share in stories and tears about a project that has been ongoing for the past year and a half - sewing hospice gowns. Now, after months of work by 60 women, who call themselves Violets helpers, 150 gowns have been finished and donated to the hospice in Alexandria. The 100 percent cotton gowns were created with different colored fabrics, such as flip flops and bright flowers.
