Nutrition and the Eye to be presented at Ecumen Bethany Community
Dr. Todd Olson will be at Ecumen Bethany Community on Monday, May 7 at 2:30 p.m. presenting "Nutrition and the Eye." Olson will be discussing some of the latest research regarding nutrition and eye health. Much of the focus will be on macular degeneration. This educational opportunity empowers those in attendance to take control of their eye health.
Olson was raised in the Alexandria area and is a Jefferson High School graduate. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology from Concordia College in Moorhead. He then attained his Doctor of Optometry Degree from the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, California. He is currently in private practice in Alexandra at Randy's Family Optical and in Glenwood at Glacial Ridge Eye Clinic.
Ecumen Bethany Community offers independent and assisted living, skilled nursing care, newly remodeled short-term rehabilitation services, senior fitness center. Services also include community outreach for area residents including adult day services, respite care and VoiceCare home medical alert system. Soon to come, is Memory Care.
The presentation will be held in the Ecumen Bethany Community Chapel, 1020 Lark Street, Alexandria. Coffee and cookies will be served after the presentation.
