The display, "Views Across Time," is the result of a joint effort of the Metropolitan Airports Commission, Minnesota Historical Society, the NWA History Centre, Inc. and the Airport Foundation MSP, the non-profit organization that administers the airport's Arts and Culture and Travelers Assistance programs.

"It's fascinating to see how much the airport has changed over the years, from its modest beginnings on the grounds of a former auto raceway to a major U.S. airport," said Airport Foundation MSP Executive Director Jana Vaughn. "In the depictions of aircraft, facilities and famous individuals who played a part in MSP's early history, you get a sense of the important role Minnesota played in the development of commercial aviation nationally."

Located on Concourse C near TGI Friday's restaurant, the exhibit features 60 images as well as memorabilia from the Metropolitan Airports Commission and NWA History Centre, Inc. The exhibit was made possible, in part, by a $10,498 Minnesota Legacy Funds Grant from the Minnesota Historical Society.

The exhibit will be on display through September.
