Nelson woman wins $5,000 Lottery prize
Norma Lanoue of Nelson won $5,000 by playing the Minnesota Lottery's Lucky Lines Multiplier scratch game.
She claimed the prize April 1. The winning ticket was purchased at Super America, 211 Nokomis in Alexandria.
Proceeds from the Minnesota State Lottery benefit all Minnesotans. Since 1990, the Lottery has raised more than $2.2 billion for state programs. The general fund has received more than $1.3 billion to help fund education, public safety and health and human services. More than $875 million has funded environmental programs.
