0 Talk about it
James will perform and lead worship at Catalyst Church on Sunday, November 17 at 10 a.m. at Woodland School, 1410 South McKay Avenue, Alexandria as part of the church’s fall “Contagious Christianity” focus.

He will also perform and share some of his life story at Celebrate Recovery on Monday, November 18 at 6:30 p.m. at Alexandria Covenant Church, 4005 Dakota Street (behind Target).

The public is invited to attend, and a free will offering will be accepted.

James began playing music in bars when he was 15 and eventually had a successful music career in Nashville, Tennessee, including road tours and songs recorded by Pam Tillis, Mark Chestnut and Loretta Lynn.

Yet at the same time, he was in a 24-year battle with addiction, which eventually led to incarceration, before God spoke and James began to seek Him.

Now delivered from addiction, James lives in the Twin Cities with his wife and three daughters. He sings and speaks for Celebrate Recovery groups, jails and prisons, and churches around the nation.
