Music for your heart and soul: CLCA kicks off season September 20
The Central Lakes Concert Association is excited about its upcoming season.
Not only because of this year's performers, but also because the association has a new website, according to Randy Morken, CLCA president.
The public may go online to www.centrallakesconcerts.com to not only learn about the association, but also to explore the artists who will be performing during this year's concert season.
The 27th season will kick off September 20. All concerts will take place in the gymnasium at Jefferson High School in Alexandria. Admission is by season ticket only.
Those wishing to purchase season tickets can do so by calling Jan Johnson at (320) 762-1350 or Bernita Darveaux at (320) 763-6248. Season tickets will be mailed the first part of September.
Through the reciprocity agreement, CLCA members may also attend 26 other concerts, at no admission cost, in Wadena, Sauk Centre, Fergus Falls, Brainerd and Ortonville/Milbank.
Here is a look at the upcoming schedule in Alexandria:
Monday, September 20 at 7:30 p.m. - Jeri Sager's Broadway. Singing the Broadway songs she loves and has performed for thousands of people, Sager will leave audience members with a smile on their face and a song in their heart.
