The music of Patsy Cline
The "Music on Broadway" series continues at the Alexandria Area Arts Association (AAAA) Theatre this Friday, January 9.
The program, which will begin at 7:30 p.m., is The Music of Patsy Cline featuring Cassie Wiesner and The Bob Band.

Organizers of Music on Broadway noted that it is a series of extraordinary musical events and other fun activities.
Wiesner, who lives near Farwell, and The Bob Band will take audience members on a musical journey back in time. Band members include Terry Kennedy of Alexandria, guitar; Steve Ahles of Ortonville, guitar; Bruce Kelly of Elbow Lake, bass; Anne O'Flynn of Elbow Lake, piano; Randy Barnes of Alexandria, petal steel; Sami Steidl of Alexandria, fiddle; and Tony Ray of Barrett, drums.
Organizers of the show said, "Imagine it is the early 60s and you are at a concert featuring the biggest female singer in the country - Patsy Cline. That is the experience you will get as you watch this show."
There are many Patsy Cline tribute shows, but with Cassie Wiesner and The Bob Band, audience members will get the whole package - a group dedicated to sounding as authentic and true to the spirit of the original recordings as possible.
With guitar, bass, pedal steel, piano, fiddles and drums, Wiesner and The Bob Band, will play a plethora of Patsy Cline hits including Crazy, Walking After Midnight, Sweet Dreams, I Fall to Pieces and more.
