Murder mystery to take place in Brooten
John O's Dinner Theatre in Brooten proudly presents "B-I-N-G-O Spells Murder."
The event is a live, interactive dinner theater show starring a cast of characters everyone is sure to relate to.
In fact, every person that comes to the show will be given a name tag and be able to take on a new character persona.
Guests may walk in and become Edward Payne, who does windshield glass repair, or maybe Mrs. Ann Dumb, who is perpetually embarrassed.
As guests enjoy a dinner of either chicken alfredo or rub and love ribeye, they will be able to develop their character.
Then, they can sit back and enjoy a wonderful murder mystery, but guests must pay close attention because they will have to help determine the killer, the means and the motive.
"B-I-N-G-O Spells Murder" is a murder mystery that takes place at Our Lady of Almost Lost Causes Orphanage.
It will be the guest's job to help Father Patrick O'Sullivan solve the murder that has taken place and eventually help save the orphanage.
Thomas Rosengren, a native of Belgrade, is the director of the play. The cast includes Jack Kuppich of Belgrade, Pauline Segaar, Larry Syverson, David Swinney and Lynda Swinney, all of the Brooten area, and Bill and Wanda Lee of the Starbuck area.
The cast has been rehearsing for about five weeks and are ready to give patrons an evening full of entertainment, mystery and laughter as they bring their exciting characters to life.
The cost for the meal and show is $30 per person. To make a reservation, call (320) 346-4330.
