Multi-million dollar robotics tour is coming to Alexandria Technical College

This three-day, automation-themed event will kick off with "Maximize Minnesota" on September 3 - a day of presentations by automation experts from around the region and the nation, featuring keynote address speaker Mark Soutor of ABB Robotics.
Maximize Minnesota is sponsored by the Minnesota Center for Engineering and Manufacturing Excellence (MNCEME), consisting of partner institutions Alexandria Technical College, Anoka Technical College, Hennepin Technical College, Normandale Community College, South Central College, the Northeast Higher Education District, and lead institution Minnesota State University, Mankato.
ABB Robotics will have their multi-million dollar ABB Robotics on the Move: Partnership in Productivity Tour trailer at Alexandria Technical College for all three days, September 3-5.
The tour is ABB's primary event focused on helping manufacturers find ways to use robotics to their fullest potential to increase their competitiveness in the marketplace. ABB will provide classroom-based learning opportunities as well as live demonstrations of robotic welding and vision-assisted robotics applications.
In addition to these interactive learning activities, Alexandria Technical College and event co-sponsor, Massman Automation Designs, LLC, will provide facilities tours, a hospitality suite featuring vendor displays and Internet access, and a nine-hole golf outing.
