Good grief. More rain.
A thunderstorm pushed through the Alexandria area on Tuesday, August 16 bringing with it heavy rain. Three-quarters of an inch of rain was recorded by the National Weather Service.
That's not what this part of the state needed.
Lakes are already beyond the Ordinary High Water Levels, creeks are swollen, docks are barely above water and people's moods are soggy after a wet summer.
There's a 60 percent chance of more rain tonight and a slight chance of rain through the rest of the week.
