More details emerge about unusual crash

More information has been released about an unusual crash that happened on Park Street in Alexandria at about 8 a.m. Monday.

Steven Sachs, 62, of Alexandria was driving a Jeep Cherokee when it veered off the road, went over a curb, crashed into two unoccupied vehicles and landed upside down.

The other vehicles, a 1994 Ford Mustang and a 2007 PT Cruiser, were parked in Justin Swenson's driveway.

Sachs was taken to the Douglas County Hospital by North Ambulance. As of Wednesday morning, he remained hospitalized in satisfactory condition. Police are trying to determine if a medical condition led to the crash.
