Money Matters workshops offered for parents, teens and kids
Catalyst Covenant Church and Thrivent Financial are hosting two practical Money Matters workshops for parents, kids and teens.
The first Money Matters for Parents and Kids is geared for elementary-aged kids and their parents and will take place Tuesday, September 17 from 6:45 to 7:45 p.m. at the Woodland Elementary School media center, 1410 South McKay Avenue, Alexandria.
It will be preceded by a free supper in the Woodland cafeteria at 6:15 p.m.
The second Money Matters for Parents and Teens is geared toward middle school and early high school kids and their parents and will take place Wednesday, September 18 from 6:45 to 7:45 p.m. at the Woodland media center.
It will be preceded by a free supper at 6:15 p.m.
There is no cost for these workshops, and free childcare is available each evening.
These workshops will be taught by Tim Urness, Thrivent financial advisor and former District 206 teacher, and Mike Paulson, Thrivent community relations consultant.
