MNsure Contact Center reaching capacity
As of noon on Monday, March 31, the MNsure Contact Center had received more than 9,600 incoming calls from Minnesotans with questions about health insurance, nearly double the total amount received on December 31, 2013.
As expected, this is putting strain on the phone system, and may cause some users to not get through to an agent. The current average hold time at the MNsure Contact Center is 18 minutes, and is expected to increase throughout the day.
