Minnesota authors to visit Cherry Street Books
Seven Minnesota authors will visit Cherry Street Books in downtown Alexandria during the month of March.
On Saturday, March 12, three mystery writers will be featured from noon until 2 p.m.
Pam Leonard, author of Death's Imperfect Witness, is from St. Cloud. Her mystery, set in Minneapolis, gives the reader a behind-the-scenes look at the life of a doctor in a major urban hospital who finds herself drawn into the hunt for a serial killer.
Phil Rustad, author of Dart is a realtor from Minneapolis. His book offers insights into the world of policing, forensics and technology.
Jack Lambert of Mendota Heights is the author of The Battle of Otter Tail County, which is a fictional account set mostly in the Fergus Falls area in the 1990s.
As two life-long friends struggle with the burdens of age and reflect on mistakes of the past and the flaws of modern society, their seemingly idyllic retirement begins to unravel and plunges them into unexpected adventures and a mystery that culminates in murder.
