Minnesota and National Farmers Union announce scholarship
Minnesota Farmers Union (MFU) is offering a $1,000 Tim Henning Memorial Membership and Policy Scholarship to a MFU member or their child who is a college student going into their junior or senior year pursuing an education in agriculture, policy or a similar field.
"This scholarship honors the contribution of our past Nobles County Farmers Union President Tim Henning for the purpose of encouraging family farming as a career," said Doug Peterson, Minnesota Farmers Union president.
National Farmers Union has a $1,000 National Farmers Union Foundation Stanley Moore scholarship for any Farmers Union member or their child; and a $1,500 Farmers Union Industries Foundation Stanley Moore scholarship for any MFU member, or their child who resides in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota or Wisconsin.

Applications for the Tim Henning Scholarship are due June 30; and the National Farmers Union scholarship applications are due April 21.
